Sparrow & Dagger, LLC is owned and operated by artist Christina McNeill, who draws nature-inspired works using colored pencil, dip pen and India ink, and watercolor.

Her process begins with careful consideration of the expression and positioning of the subject and how best to translate its personality in a way that feels beautiful and serene. This develops into detailed, hand-rendered drawings that emphasize composition, natural form, beauty, and simplicity.

While some works remain as finished fine art on paper, she also considers how to extend access beyond the limitations of wall space. Select pieces are translated onto apparel for those who wish to express their connection to nature and support for the arts through what they wear. These works are adapted through a small-batch silk screening process, where each design is recreated as a digital vector drawing. She laser-cuts the drawing on screens then hand-pulls ink onto each garment, preserving the integrity of the original drawings in wearable form. Stepping through the process in this way ensures each finished piece meets Christina’s high standards for quality, fit, and design.

She is a self taught artist championed by her family and a network of mentors, friends, and artists from The Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania.

Sparrow & Dagger was created to fuse Christina’s fine art with apparel as a form of artistic expression and a solution for stylish apparel for nature lovers who prioritize comfort, function, and a touch of personal flair.
